Design Philosophy
Frank Lloyd Wright once said, “Form follows function - that has been misunderstood. Form and function should be one, joined in a spiritual union.” As I have grown as a designer, the same spiritual union applies to design and culture in my problem solving. Design is not only the creation of an aesthetically pleasing space, but it is also the creation of a connected culture. The design of a space will always set the standard for what the occupants in the space will experience. Designers are misunderstood for what role they play in society, but in reality, they bring everyone together through the creation of uplifting spaces. Design is not always about combining elements to make a masterpiece, but about function, wellness, and the ultimate environment to live, work, or worship.
